Riddles about spiritual gifts

1. This fruit comes in different sizes. At the same time, it can increase and decrease. It cannot be bought for any of the riches of this world and is acquired from the words heard. If this fruit is good, then after you taste it, you want to do good deeds. This fruit gives us life. (Vera)

2. This fruit is of two kinds. The first is quite small, but very attractive, the other is huge, but it cannot be described in words. The first one is found everywhere on earthly roads, and the other one needs to be sought. Sometimes he is found where you do not expect to find him: for example, in sorrow or in trial. This fruit grows in the gardens of peacemakers and philanthropists. It is called the expectation of the righteous. This fruit was brought to people by his birth Jesus Christ. (joy)

3. This fruit is the largest, tastiest and most desirable for man, therefore it is called the totality of perfection. It is so huge that even all the waters of our planet cannot cover it. If we share it with others, it becomes even bigger. After eating this fruit, we forget all our fears and our soul blossoms. This wonderful fruit in itself has such life-giving substances and vitamins as long-suffering, mercy, humility, peace, and many, many others. No matter how much we eat it, we will never eat it completely. (love)

4. This fruit is very beautiful in appearance and at first it seems to be very sweet, but when you swallow it, you feel a bitter taste of rot. Despite this, it is called the fruit of the gods. In ancient times, this fruit was brought to temples for donations, now it can be found in almost every home and in a place of honor. This fruit has such harmful substances as fornication, impurity, passion, lust, and many, many others. (idolatry)

5. This fruit is very poisonous and needs to be immediately thrown into the trash. You can't even touch him. If suddenly we try it, then our body is completely poisoned, even bones rot. If we have tasted the harmful pulp of this fruit, then, having become ill, we involuntarily infect those around us. And some people get very sick. Wherever this fruit appears, there is always disorder and everything bad. (envy)

6. They say about this fruit that it is the largest on the whole earth, although it grows from the smallest, almost invisible seed. It is the most poisonous of all fruits and vegetables. It is also said that there are more people traveling this fruit than there are hairs on our heads. In such people, the heart and brain are primarily affected, they go blind and can no longer see anything around them. People begin to do the most disgusting evil to others, which can only be on earth. And the worst thing is that this fruit brings death with its juices. (hatred)

Hosts enter

Dear friends, we are glad to see you here! As you already understood, you got on board the Good News ship! Let's get acquainted! I am the captain of the ship.... Andrey! And these are my assistants - midshipmen: (you can think about the title and names, everyone salutes) they will help me along the way! (you can line up and do roll call)

Let's name names together! (children shout their names at the same time, the leaders play along with them)

So guys, are you ready for our journey? Tell me, on such a dangerous journey, when you are far from home, from your parents, what is most important to you? What and who do you need to bring with you? (children answer, the presenters lead to the fact that it’s impossible to travel without a friend)

Yes, guys, we're lost without a friend. Are you good at making friends? Now we will play with you, and in these games we will once again make sure that it is important when there is a shoulder of a person who can always support you!

Hall games

1. "The Right Course". Skittles are placed on the floor so that they indicate underwater reefs, between which it is necessary to navigate the ship. First, young sailors carefully study the location of the reefs, then each of them is blindfolded in turn and offered to guide the ship, bypassing dangerous places. To do this, the hall is divided into 3 parts (3 ships), three captains are selected who study the location of the reefs, and then the captain builds his ship from the participants with a “train” and tries to go around the reefs blindfolded. Each team goes through its route in turn.

2. "Knot". Every sailor should be able to tie and untie knots. For this game, the driver, hereinafter - "Confusion" Unravel the knot is given to the captain. He praises them for their resourcefulness and skill.

3. "Pumps". The captain comes running and announces that a storm is beginning, and this is a good test for the strongest and most courageous. Powerful waves one after another fall on our ship! We urgently need to pump out the water! Several pairs are selected. They stand with their backs to each other, clinging with their elbows. In this position, they fall to the deck, which means that the "pumps" are in action. Without assistance, they will have to rise and fall within 1 minute. Whoever gets more "jocks" wins.

4. "Tug of War"

5. "Swamp". Imagine that we landed on a desert island, with marshland. We need to get through the swamp from the ship to land. To do this, it is necessary to give each participant two sheets of paper, and show how to cross the swamp: standing with one foot on one sheet, simultaneously rearrange the second sheet further away from you, then jumping onto it, put the first sheet further from the second.

6. "Shipwreck". The area is indicated (with chalk, rope, newspaper on the floor) - this is an island of salvation. Every 10-15 seconds, the captain removes newspaper after newspaper, narrowing the island, the players need a way to help the crew members not to “fall into the sea”, for this they have to stand on one leg, hold on to a friend.

The facilitator concludes:

Guys, you showed yourself to be so brave, dexterous, and most importantly, you showed how you can make friends. Remember how you pulled the rope, and how important was the effort of everyone, how you tried to keep your boat on the right course so that not a single member of the crew died, how cleverly you twisted knot that it was beyond the power of the captain to unravel it. How did you tell your friends how to move over bumps and stones in the swamp. We admire you!

Children's performance

Captain, we're approaching Talent Island. Guys, this is not an easy island, you have such an opportunity: to show your talents. Don't think that the sailors on the ship don't have fun. We can sing and dance. And when there is an opportunity, we are happy to show everything we are capable of. And you?

Performance of children (3-4 people)

Game "Guess the melody"

Did you see how they applauded you?! And how we experienced sailors liked your participation! You have shown what you are capable of! You can both sing and dance! Tell me, do you like it when your friends can do something? Do you express your approval and support to them? So you know how to make friends! And now it's time for us to go. Our friends are sailing on another treasure ship, we need to catch up with them in order to find them together.

Jesus wants to be your friend

Captain! Look what I found! I was fishing right at the stern, and I came across this bottle in the net. There is something there! Shows to children. Offers to pull out a note. Children read it, it says that something important is hidden in the ship, under the porthole (under the window). They find a flash drive.

  13. This is someone who accepts you for who you are. Appreciate such friends!
  14. But even if it happens that you lose your friends due to a move, or because you change schools; if it turns out that you are left completely alone, I want to say that you still have the One who is ready to be your true friend!
  15. He is invisible, but He speaks to your heart. You hear him when he asks you to give up your seat on the bus
  16. Or apologize to your mom.
  17. He is always there. He keeps your life and inspires you to good deeds!
  18. Once He also lived on earth and was just like you, He did a lot of good things for people, but there were those among them who did not understand and did not accept Him. And He died.
  19. But He was an extraordinary man. He was God! And so He conquered death and resurrected! Over time, you will learn more about Him, but the main thing I would like to tell you today is that He will never betray you, will not leave you, and will always support you and keep your life. You can turn to Him with requests. He will listen to them carefully and will definitely answer.

The presentation turns on, the presenter reads the text. And brings the children to the essence of the meeting. Jesus is a True Friend, ready to be always there.

Son: Here's another, this is not a man's business! Our job is to fight! (fights with a sword)

Storyteller: Mom works alone,

She has no rest, no sleep.

And then my mom got sick...

(House. Mom lies on the bed, covered with a blanket.)

Mom: Daughter, bring me a drink, something is hot for me ...

Daughter: And we have all run out of water ... Well, okay, I'll go to the river. Wait, mom!

(He leaves with a bucket. He approaches the river, bends down and admires his reflection.)

How beautiful I am! And kind - went for water. Here dad will come - he will bring a new dress.

Who can help them?

We had to cut wood ourselves.

And learned how to cook soup.

Everyone tried to eat less

But only a piece of bread remained ...

(Spring forest. Two roosters are fighting in the center of the clearing, and chickens are waiting along the edges.)

1st Rooster: Give me back my seed!

2nd Rooster: No, give it back!

Daughter: What happened?

1st Rooster: I was the first to find this grain, but he does not give it back!

2nd Rooster: No, I'm the first!

Son: Oh, you! Fighting is bad. Make peace and go to your chickens, see how they are waiting for you.

1st Rooster: And how can we make peace, because there is only one grain?

Son: Here, take our bread, enough for two of you.

Roosters: Thank you!

Storyteller: How the fighter son surprised us -

He reconciled two bullies.

I gave the last bread, loving,

He apparently forgot himself.

(Spring forest. Children.)

Daughter: I'm so tired...

Son: Let's rest.

(They put a pot, cook soup. Butterfly arrives)

Butterfly: Hello! Where are you going?

Daughter: We are going to the castle of Sorrow-longing, to help out our mother.

Butterfly: Then you will need to swim across the river. Do you want me to help you?

Son: Of course we do!

Butterfly: I will give you a wing, and you can cross to the other side. And for that, give me your jewelry. Tomorrow we will have Easter, the Lord will rise again!

Daughter: How can the dead be resurrected?

Butterfly: God can do anything! He is stronger than death!

Daughter (taking off the beads): Of course, take them, I don't need them anymore.

Butterflies: Bye! God help!

Storyteller: Amazing thing -

The daughter of the beads did not regret it.

It can be seen that the journey was not in vain set off -

Gone, changed.

And everyone became kinder

As if someone helped them ...

But here is the river in front of them -

Flowing wide, deep...

(Spring forest. River. Children.)

Son: That's a river!

Daughter: Can these wings carry us?

(They put on wings and "fly" across the river.)

Son: And here is the castle!

Daughter: How tall! And there is no road. How do we get there?

Son: It's already night. There is very little left before sunrise.

Daughter: What to do? Who will help us?

(The sad Myrrhbearers are coming.)

Myrrhbearers (perform the song "Prayer", sheet music here>>>):

The night is burning down. Pray that

Who languishes in suffering.

Who is only familiar with need and grief,

Whose sobs do not stop ...

1st Myrrhbearer: Children, what are you doing here so late?

Christian staging:

Gods Fair

Staging in two acts
Premiere: December 17, 2006, Montreal
authors: Roman and Evgeniya Sverlovy

TOPIC: This production is a grotesque for today's spiritual state of the world and people who consider themselves Christians, but in reality they are not. It encourages a person to think about his spirituality and what he is looking for in life: the Living true God or a convenient religion that satisfies all his needs and desires.

CHARACTERS:

  • The seller at the fair (aka Satan in the second act)
  • Buyers (6 people: men and women)
  • God's angel (in the second act)

STEP ONE: "AT THE FAIR"
Act one

Booth with a seller. Salesman sings a song, luring people (music from the movie "Ah, vaudeville, vaudeville"):

The first customer appears on the scene. He approaches the booth of the seller of the gods and turns to him with a question:

Buyer #1: Hello, do you really sell gods?

Salesman: Yes, sure. Come on, come on. Buy God faster.

Buyer #1: I don't need any God, I only need Christian. Do you have one?

Salesman A: So you've come to the right place. In this shop, I only sell Christian gods. To you which god is needed?

Buyer #1: What do you mean what? I said: I need a Christian god.

Salesman: Describe in more detail the Christian god you are looking for.

Buyer #1: Well… this is such a loving and generous god who takes care of all my needs. As soon as I pray and ask him for something, he will immediately answer me and give me everything. He never refuses me anything and is always ready to fulfill my every desire.

Salesman: Ho-ho-ho! I have just what you need! ( goes to the shop and comes back holding Santa Claus) Here is the god you need.

Buyer #1: (looking incredulously at the proposed god) Is this a Christian god?

Salesman: Well, of course, Christian! After all, he is very generous and loving. He grants wishes, and will never refuse you anything.

Buyer #1: (happily) Thank you very much! ( gives money, takes God and leaves)

Act two

Booth with a seller. Salesman

I trade gods.

See for yourself.

A second customer appears on the scene. Approaching the seller, he turns to him with a question:

Buyer #2: Hello. Are you selling gods?

Salesman: Yes, of course: Come, fly. Buy God faster.

Buyer #2: It's good that I found you. Could you help me choose a god?

Salesman: With great pleasure. What god would you like?

Buyer #2: I heard that God is omnipresent, and that he sees everything and knows everything. And when he sees that people are doing something wrong, he rebukes them and punishes them.

Salesman: (meaningfully Yes, I heard about that too...

Buyer #2: The thing is, I'm not ready to give up my sinful life yet. But I still need God. And so that he does not punish me for that, how I live in the world, I need him to see me only when I come to him. And that he was silent and did not punish me.

Salesman: (thinks for a moment and gladly announces) What a score! I have just what you need!!! (removes to the shop and returns, carrying an icon in his hand). Here, I recommend!

Buyer #2: (examining the icon, incredulously) And this Christian the God?

Salesman: Well, of course! See, the Holy Trinity. Put or hang her in a corner, and she will see and hear you only when you stand in front of her.

Buyer #2: Oh thank you! ( gladly pays): Keep the change! ( leaves the stage)

Act three

Booth with a seller. Salesman sings the refrain from his song, enticing the people:

Well, what can I say? Well, what can I say?
I trade gods.
My business will prosper
See for yourself.

A potential buyer walks past, yawning around. The salesman in the shop sees him and tries to lure him...

Salesman: Citizen, citizen! Do you happen to need God?

Buyer #3: And I'm already a believer. ( proudly) I'm a Christian!

Salesman: And what, doesn't a believer need God?

Buyer #3: (thinking for a moment) Hmm ... actually needed.

Salesman: So why do you refuse God if you are a believer?

Buyer #3: No, no... I don't give up on God. Just… ( hitch)

Salesman: What is simple"? Something not this way with your god?

Buyer #3: No, it's the same with my god. It's just... he's so demanding. It's not enough for him that I regularly go to church and pay tithing. He requires a lot of things from me: to read the Bible, to attend Sunday school and all prayer meetings, help the pastor, participate in numerous church projects and so on. It's too hard for me. I don't know who can take it... ( in thought) Is there something wrong with me?

Salesman: (happily) So this is not a problem with you, but with your god, and I know how to fix it.

Buyer #3: Yes? How?

Salesman: You need to purchase new god: one for whom it will be enough that you go to church regularly on Sundays. I just have in mind such a god for you. ( retires to the shop and returns with a Catholic idol).

Buyer #3: (picks up an idol and begins to turn it around and examine it from all sides) Is this a Christian god?

Salesman: Citizen, don't you see the cross on it? Of course, Christian.

Buyer #3: So you think I should buy it from you?

Salesman: Of course. Moreover, such a god is the last one for me today. You are extremely lucky.

Buyer #3: Aha… the price is right… Ok, I’m buying it ( pays and leaves, talking to the newly bought deity). Now we will live with you! I will put you in the most prominent place and I will take care of you ...

act four

Booth with a seller. Salesman sings the refrain from his song, enticing the people:

Well, what can I say? Well, what can I say?
I trade gods.
My business will prosper
See for yourself.

A buyer approaches the booth, holding a pile of books just bought at the fair.

Buyer #4 Q: What are you selling here? Not biblical literature by any chance?

Salesman: What are you looking for?

Buyer #4: Spiritual literature.

Salesman: May I ask which one?

Buyer #4: (showing just purchased books) For example, I just bought several books: “Peace with God”, “True Christian”, “ABC of a Christian”, “Be Faithful”, “Window to Paradise” ...

Salesman: Wow, do you read that much? ( flatters) You must be such an erudite person!!!

Buyer #4: Yes, I'm a Christian. And Christians read a lot of spiritual literature.

Salesman: Oh, what an interesting god you have, that he makes you read so much spiritual literature ...

Buyer #4: Actually, no. He doesn't make me read all those books. He requires only one thing from me: regularly read and study His Word - the Bible and change. And I don't have time to read the Bible: I'm very busy. Moreover, it is so big, and everything is written in it so incomprehensibly and confusingly that I cannot understand it. And I can't quite understand why God wants me to read the Bible all the time. And anyway, why did he need to write such a big and thick book???

Salesman: (indignantly) I never understood that either. But it seems to me that there is a way out of your situation: you need a god who wrote ma-a-a-a-a-lazy bible.

Buyer #4 Q: Does such a god exist?

Salesman A: Of course there is. And what's more, I have such a god in stock, along with his bible. Want to buy?

Buyer #4: And I only need a Christian god ( pointing to their spiritual books).

Salesman: And I to you another and do not suggest.

Buyer #4: (thoughtfully) Actually, you know… I already have a god. I will only buy a bible from you. Good?

Salesman: Wonderful! ( retires to the shop and returns, carrying a thin bible in his hands). Here, take a look ... ( shows the bible)

Buyer #4: (takes the "bible" in his hands, opens, examines and reads):

  • God created the heavens and the earth and everything that fills them.
  • God breathed into man the breath of life.
  • God destroyed the earth with a flood.
  • God is love.
  • You are the salt of the earth.
  • I'm coming soon...
  • Amen.

Buyer #4: (bewildered) What is it?

Salesman: Bible! Don't you see? ( pointing to the cover that says "BIBLE")

    Buyer #4: And it's all???

Salesman: Of course, everything ... But you can read such a bible several times a day. And your god will be very pleased with you. After all, this is his word!

Buyer #4: (surprised) Hmm .. I did not think that everything turned out to be so simple. I didn't have to suffer so much...

Salesman: (addressing the public) Everything ingenious is simple! ( to the buyer) So you take it?

Buyer #4: Yes, yes, I take. Close it please. ( picks up the purchase and leaves)

    act five

Booth with a seller. Salesman sings the refrain from his song, enticing the people:

Well, what can I say? Well, what can I say?
    I trade gods.
    My business will prosper
    See for yourself.

A man rises from the crowd of spectators and shouts indignantly, addressing the seller with the gods:

Buyer #5: Why are you screaming like that?

Salesman: Come on, come on. Buy God faster.

Buyer #5: What does it mean: "buy God"? God must be inside - in your heart!

Salesman: (grinning) And what does it give when God is in the heart?

    Buyer #5:
    - When God is in the heart, then you don’t have to look for him and you don’t have to go to him (that is, you don’t have to go to church), he’s always with you anyway. And you never know what kind of people gather in the church, and there are different churches. You come there, they look at you the wrong way, they say the wrong thing, and it all irritates you so much. And when God is inside, there is always such peace and tranquility in the soul. Together with God is much better than with people in the church...
    - When God is in the heart, then it’s not at all necessary to pray to him, because he lives in me and knows himself what I want to ask him for ...
    - When God is in the heart, then he himself teaches me with divine revelations (therefore, it is not necessary to read the Bible). The Lord will teach you everything...
    - When God is in the heart, then you don’t need to serve him, because it is written that he “does not require the service of human hands” ...
    - When God is in the heart, then there is no need to change, because God himself changes me from the inside, because he is inside me. And, besides, I’m already good enough: I give alms, I feed homeless animals, and in general I don’t wish anything bad to anyone and I love everyone ...

Salesman: How interesting. And, let me ask you, how do others know that your god lives in your heart?

    Buyer #5: Hmmm… ( in thought) This hard question… I even do not know…

Salesman: (happily) ABOUT! I have something for you...( removes a large cross from his chest and puts it on the buyer's neck). Now, now anyone will see that God lives in your heart, and you can always take him with you, you can always touch him, and even kiss him. And you don’t need to do anything else, because your god will do the rest for you.

Buyer #5: (admiring the cross) Yes-ah-ah-ah-ah? Wow! How much does it cost?

Salesman: Not at all for you. I take it from my heart and give it to you free of charge as my last client today.

Buyer #5: (thanks the seller and leaves with a blissful smile, stroking the cross)

    act six

Salesman: (left alone, counts the proceeds) So the day has passed. I did a good job. It was a good sale today. ( Hangs up a CLOSED sign and prepares to leave).

Suddenly, out of nowhere, out of breath, another customer runs up to the booth with string bags in her hands (she walked around the fair for so long and was carried away by her purchases that she reached the seller’s booth by the gods already by its closing).

Buyer #6: Are you closed already? And I was told that you are selling gods...

Salesman: (perking up) Do you need a god?

    Buyer #6: Yes, I need ... I really need a god.

Salesman: Do you need such a God? ( defiantly pulls the cross hanging around the neck to the side of the buyer, offering him to buy it)

Buyer #6: No-e-e-e-e-t ... This is too primitive a religion for weaklings and mentally deranged ( twists a finger at the temple). I would like something like that ... rare, intricate, unusual ... And for God to be so special, so exotic, so magical ... Such ... such ... ( inspired, but then stopped short). But you probably don't. ( Quite sad) Yes, and you have already closed your stall. I came too late...

Salesman: (consoling) Yes, you do not be upset. Think the stall is closed. Yes, I have so many more stalls at this fair! Yes, I can offer you so many gods that it will take your breath away ... Come with me ... ( takes the customer by the arm and heads to another stall backstage) I can offer different gods ( curling fingers): Buddha, Allah, Krishna, Mammon, Moloch, Dagon, Baal, Astarte, Venus, Zeus, Cupid and many others. Choose any ... ( and so they both leave the stage).

While they are leaving the stage, music begins to play, indicating to the audience that the first act is over. It continues during the change of scenery and continues until the second act begins.

    ACT TWO: "IN HELL"
    Act One: Encounter with Satan

To the sounds of frightening music and special effects (smoke or fog, a strobe light, a red lamp), buyers enter the stage from different directions. Each of them carries its own god. They all meet in the middle of the stage in front of the gates of HELL (the arch on which the red lights are lit, the inscription "Hell" or "Welcome to Hell"). Everyone has a dumb question on their face...

    Buyer #1: Where am I?
Buyer #2: What kind of place is it?
    Buyer #3: What is Hell???
    Buyer #4: Can not be!
Buyer #5: I understand, Buddhists, Muslims, Hare Krishnas and other pagans... And how did we, Christians, get here?!?

A man in a hat appears on the stage. It is visible to buyers and spectators only from the back. With slow steps, imperceptibly for buyers and spectators, he passes to the middle of the stage behind the gates of Hell. However, one of the buyers manages to notice it.

Buyer #1: Look, this is the seller from the fair who sold this god to me ( shows everyone his deity).
Buyer #2: So he to me sold god (shows his god)
Buyer #3: And me! ( shows his god)
Buyer #4: And me! ( shows his god)
Buyer #5: He sold the gods to us all! ( shows his god)

Buyer #2: This is he it's my fault that I went to hell!
Buyers #3, 4, 5: Of course he is!!! He!!!
Buyer #1: Well, now he will receive from me.

Customer #1, with a vicious expression on his face, approaches the Dealer of the Gods and rips off his hat, intending to beat him up. The seller turns to the buyers and to the audience. Everyone sees that this is Satan (red horns appear from under the removed hat, a red trowel is under the cloak, a red trident is in the hands). Customers with horror and screams bounce off Satan.

    Buyer #5: You??? It's you???
    Buyer #4: How could you?
Buyer #3: You fooled us all!!!
Buyer #2: You sold us false gods!
    Buyer #1: Deceiver!

Satan: One minute. I didn't deceive anyone. I sold you what you asked me to. Each of you was looking for your own god. And each of you got what you wanted. All your conditions have been met. To me - no complaints ... ( turns around and goes to Hell through the gate)

Buyers from hopelessness begin to rush around the stage, looking for a way out of Hell from this terrible place. Suddenly, one of them notices an angel, who stands aside on an elevated place and sadly watches what is happening.

Buyer #1: Look ... (everyone turns around)
    Buyer #2: It's God's angel!
Buyer #3 A: Let's go to him. May be, is he will help us get out of Hell.

All buyers go to the angel and turn to him with a question and a request ...

Buyer #4: Angel, this is some kind of mistake. We couldn't get here! We are believers! We are Christians all defiantly shake their gods and assent) Please help us find a way out of this scary place...

Angel: (addressing those who have gone to Hell) Friends, while living on earth, you were not looking for the True Living God, who gives salvation and eternal life. You were looking for convenient gods for yourself, who would amuse your pride and fulfill all your whims. You were looking for a convenient religion, and you found it. Your place - here, in hell. (Angel pointing to the gates of hell).

With the last words of the Angel, the frightening music and sounds of Hell are again heard (screams, groans, crying, howls and gnashing of teeth), smoke rises on the stage in clubs ... Buyers one by one doomedly head to Hell through the gates of Hell, and everyone exclaims mournfully at the same time.

    Buyer #1: Damn it!
    Buyer #2: Jumped!
Buyer #3: That's where these gods have taken us!
Buyer #4: I was warned that I would go to Hell...
Buyer #5: I knew it! What a fool I am!

Each of them speaks his line, passes through the gates of Hell, throws his god to the ground, bows down and freezes in a suffering pose.

    Act Two: Angel's Monologue

The scene in Hell continues for some time: smoke, crying, groans and frightening music. But soon it is replaced by the sounds of other music. To the tune of "Holy Night", an angel appears on the stage. He goes to the middle of the stage, closer to the audience (leaving hell with its inhabitants behind him). Stopping in the middle of the stage, he addresses the audience with outstretched arms. The music fades a little.

Angel: Friends, did you see what happened to them? They won't be able to change anything. But there is still time and opportunity for you to be saved. Do not look for convenient gods for yourself! Look for the one true, only living God who came to our world in the flesh to redeem our sins by his death on the cross and grant us forgiveness and eternal life. ( pause)

Angel: Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life! Come to Him before it's too late. ( pause)

Angel: Let Christ be born in your heart this Christmas.

The music is louder. After a short pause, all participants in the production stand up and come forward. There, holding hands, they bow to the audience and leave the stage to a friendly applause..

    THE END

NOTES: The closing phrase of the angel may be changed depending on the holiday in connection with which the performance is being made. Instead of words "Let Christ be born in your heart this Christmas" during Easter you can say: “Jesus died on the cross and for your sins. Repent and accept this sacrifice and the gift of eternal life.”.

    DECORATION AND PROPERTIES:

    1. Action one:

    • Buyers don't need special costumes.
    • The seller of the gods must be dressed like a seller, like a cowboy, etc. - so that he is sharply different from the buyers (the main thing is that he has a hat on his head).
    • Customer #4 has to come on stage with a stack of books.
    • Decorations: An arch woven with New Year's colored lights and tinsel, or something resembling a shop at a fair.
    • The inscription "Fair of the Gods" (in large letters).
    • Five gods: a figurine of Santa Claus, an icon (“Trinity”), a Catholic idol (one of the saints, always with a cross), a thin bible (a folder with several pages on which several bible verses are printed), a large cross on a chain for customer No. 5 , several crosses that should hang around the neck of the seller of the gods.
    2. Action two:
    • The buyers are dressed as in the first act (each of them holds his god in his hands)
    • The buyer is dressed differently: a red trowel, a black cloak or cape on his shoulders, red horns under his hat, a trident in his hands. There may be makeup on the face.
    • The angel is dressed in white shining clothes.
    • Scenery: Arch, braided with New Year's lights and red tinsel. But in the second act, only red lights are lit. Perhaps there is an inscription above the arch: "Hell" or "Welcome to Hell." On the stage there are decorations in the form of hellish flames.
