A cow in the form of a toy can be made by the child himself. For example, from paper. And to make it as high quality and accurate as possible, download the template and proceed to the first stage.

Necessary materials:

Step by step photo lesson:

Download the template and print on thick paper. Now you can start cutting out elements from it. There are 4 of them: a tail, a muzzle, a torso with a head and a small element to add volume.

We begin to create a cow from the largest element. Bend all sides along the dotted lines. A small part near the ear should be cut with scissors, to a vertical dotted line.

We glue all sides of the workpiece to obtain a square shape of the body.

Now we will add another detail to the muzzle, which will be voluminous. To do this, prepare one detail. It looks like a white stripe with dotted lines. It should be bent along the lines and glued to get a rectangle. Then apply glue to most of the rectangle and lean it against the bottom of the muzzle.

Glue the lower part of the muzzle to the cow's head.

Now you should make a tail for a spotted cow. To do this, take the part and bend it along the dotted line. We apply clerical glue and apply to the back of the body.

So the paper toy in the form of a cow from the template is ready. We give the glue to dry thoroughly and fix all the glued elements together so that the child can play.

DIY Cow craft

To make such a voluminous craft, you will need a small box, four cardboard toilet paper sleeves, black paint, white paper and a black marker.

The cardboard box, if necessary, must be pasted over with white paper. Then glue cardboard sleeves to the box to make legs.

We will need: 2 large plastic bottles, 4 cardboard tubes from toilet paper, laces for making a tail, a cocktail tube for making an udder, toothpicks, an awl, scissors, a knife, glue, paint, brushes, a lot of old newspapers, scotch tape.

1. First of all, let's make a tail. We make a hole in the bottom of the bottle and fix the lace in it. To do this, we pull the cord from the other side through the neck and make a knot that prevents this end of the cord from passing through the hole in the bottom of the bottle. We pull the lace on the other side and cut it in such a way as to ensure the formation of a tail of a given length.

2. We tie a knot on the other side of the lace (not shown in the photo). If necessary, add a wad of crumpled newspaper from the outside of the bottom and secure it with duct tape.

The back of the cow in the future will look like this:

3. In this case, a specially shaped bottle was used to make a cow's neck. However, you can make a cow without a neck. You will have to make a muzzle and ears, and you can also add horns. To make a mouth, you need to cut off the nose of the bottle, then you get a wider hole.

We fold a thick strip of newspaper and twist it along the snail, leaving one end free (do not twist the snail to the end. We fix it with adhesive tape and insert the snail with the free end into the bottle hole.

4. Let's make ears from another bottle. At the end of each ear, we additionally provide a rectangular protrusion to secure it in the cut-out hole of the bottle. We make 2 cuts in the corresponding places of the bottle and insert the ears into them.

Very even "real ears" turn out.

This is what the head of the finished cow will look like.

5. Tubes from toilet paper rolls will be used as cow legs.

We make 2 semicircular cuts opposite each other at one end of the tube to be connected to the bottle.

6. We attach the tubes to the bottle with adhesive tape.

In the photo you can see what the legs of our cow will look like.

7. We make an udder from tubes for a cocktail. We roll a small ball from the newspaper, then we form a U-shaped strip from a straw for a cocktail. We punch 2 holes in the places where the tube is bent. We insert toothpicks through these holes and stick them into a paper ball.

8. If necessary, cut the toothpicks. We make another pair of teats and attach the udder to the body of our cow. The horizontal part of the U-shaped strip will be covered with paper.

9. Now it's time to apply the papier mache layers. We will apply 6-7 layers of newspaper, for the manufacture of each layer we immerse the newspaper in glue mixed with water. For the top layers, use a more concentrated glue mixture and white newspaper margins. At the end, draw the eyes, nostrils and other details. Hang a bell around your neck.

Making a cute cow from a disposable plate! A craft made from unnecessary things is not only a way to spend your free time with a child, but also an opportunity to teach him to be more attentive and careful about objects that are intended for throwing away.

It is convenient to use various packages, boxes, as well. As an option, you can offer your child to make a funny cow.

What you need to prepare in advance for work:

  • two white paper plates;
  • black and yellow paint (black paint can be replaced with shoe cream);
  • brush;
  • white landscape sheet;
  • black marker;
  • pink and black paper;
  • glue;
  • scissors.

Let's get started.

On one plate with a brush, we apply random strokes with black paint - like spots.

To make it more interesting for the child, you can use black shoe polish and a brush instead of paint and brush. Black color will successfully replace brown and orange - with them you get a cow of a different suit.

Color the second plate yellow. Then we cut off the edges of it, giving them the shape of cow horns. You can first cut the horns, and only then gently paint them.

While the paint dries, do other work.

On the landscape sheet, draw the eyes with a black marker: first, draw two large black dots, then draw ovals around them.

We paint on the eyelashes. Cut out the eyes.

Cut out a circle from pink paper, draw on it two large dots (nostrils) and an arc - a mouth. It turns out a muzzle.

From black paper we cut out two ovals pointed at the edges - ears.

Glue the eyes, muzzle, horns and ears to the spotted plate.

The horns and ears can be attached with a stapler for a better hold.

This craft cow made from paper and disposable plates can be another one of your child's own farm. It will decorate any courtyard and house.
