Motor wheels with backward curved blades and electronically commutated motors. Low energy consumption compared to asynchronous motors, the ability to set algorithms for changing engine speed depending on various factors.

Motor wheels with forward curved blades. Small dimensions, which allows these fans to be used in compact air-intake units, at a relatively low cost but without losing quality.

Air heaters

The choice of heat exchanger for heating the supply air depends on the facility’s power supply scheme.

The most common are water heat exchangers. They can operate at temperatures up to 150 °C and at pressures up to 10 atmospheres. In addition, water heat exchangers are not particularly critical to coolants with a low freezing point.

Steam heat exchangers have a rather complex piping system to operate at higher temperatures and pressures.

Electrical heat exchangers, It can be attributed to the fact that they do not need a thermal control unit and hydraulic routes. In addition, when using them there is no threat of freezing of the coolant.

Air coolers

To cool the supply air to the required temperature, coolers of various types and classes are used.

Water coolers have the ability to precisely regulate the air temperature with an accuracy of 1 degree, using a thermal control unit. Water supply is provided by a chiller.

Freon coolers eliminate the need to use a pumping group and a thermal control unit for the intermediate coolant, since cooling occurs on the principle of “direct evaporation”.

Air valves

On VKT supply and exhaust units, air valves are used to prevent outside air from entering the unit during the winter period, while the valve uses an actuator with a return spring. On VKT air handling units using recirculation, valves serve to regulate the amount of recirculated air. Also, valves are used in the bypass channel of the recuperator and in the backup fan section.

In areas with frosty climates, insulated air valves are used to prevent condensation and freezing. Smooth heating elements with a power of 0.5 kW are installed in the blades of such valves and additional heating of the electric drive is performed.
