Don't be scared by the fact that it is proposed to use polymer clay; this method is so simple that even a beginner can handle it.
White, a roller for rolling clay (metal or silicone), a painted snowflake, a cutter, a needle, a work surface (it can be glass or ceramic tiles, the main thing is that they have a smooth surface), silver acrylic paint, nail file (sandpaper).
Work progress:
1. Knead the polymer clay to a very soft state, roll it out with a roller into a layer approximately 1 or 1.5 cm thick. In this case, it must be rolled out immediately on the surface on which it will be baked in the oven.
2. We place the snowflake pattern face down on the clay and roll it out a little with a roller so that it “transfers” to the clay (it’s good if it’s a printed pattern). We leave the paper in this position for 2 minutes so that the paint imprints better, and then carefully remove the paper from the surface of the clay.
3. We take a thin cutter and slowly cut out the snowflake along the contours. This must be done extremely carefully, since later errors will be impossible to correct.
4. Also, don’t forget to make a small hole at one end of the snowflake, through which it will then be attached to the earring ring. After this, the clay can be baked (how to do it correctly, at what temperature and for how long will be written on the clay packaging).
5. Then, when the product is baked, we cool it and proceed to grinding.
6. In this case, the author of this method, Olga Solntseva, advises using a cotton pad rather than a brush to apply paint, since with its help you can achieve a more uniform application. Make sure that the paint lies tightly on both sides of the snowflake.
8. Now the snowflake can be attached to the ring of the earring. That's it, the accessory is ready for the New Year!
Earrings from polymer clay– method two
Anyone who already knows a little about working with polymer clay will appreciate the following option for making holiday earrings.
Required materials and tools: again - this is the base, as well as pearl powder and varnish for polymer clay, sugar or salt, liquid polymer clay (optional), work surface, jewelry pins, ruler, brush, toothpicks, pliers and round nose pliers.
Work progress:
1. As always, we start by kneading the clay. Then we make a sausage out of it and roll it out until it becomes very thin, about 2 mm in diameter. It is very important that it is as even as possible along its entire length; this determines how neat the decoration will turn out.
2. Now cut the clay into three equal parts. Their length should be the same as how big you want to make the snowflake. In this example, the author Starkova Ekaterina decided to stop at a length of 3 cm. After that, the three resulting pieces must be molded into a snowflake, fastening them together in the middle.
3. Next, we make many small balls from clay, their diameter should also be 2-3 mm. We stick them to the base of the snowflake as shown in the photo. This is done using a toothpick or a stack. Very important: if you see that the clay has already lost its plasticity, lubricate the attachment points of the balls with liquid clay.
4. Since our snowflake has a complex pattern, we form 5 more thin flagella from clay, 1 or 1.5 cm long. They must be glued between the main lines of the product so that they form arcs located between two adjacent rays.
5. In order to finish the pattern, we attach one more ball to the middle of each arc, and also do not forget to make a hole on one of the rays in order to attach the product to a special ring later. To do this, make the last small ball, crush it into a cake and glue it securely to the beam. Poke a hole with a toothpick.
6. Next, you need to roll four more, but larger balls. So, two of them should have a diameter of 1.3 cm, and the other two - 0.7 cm. They must be rolled in sugar or salt so that the surface acquires a beautiful relief shape.
7. Now, you need to string four balls on jewelry pins and send them to bake along with ready-made snowflakes. After they are baked, they must be put in water for 10 minutes to melt the sugar (or salt).
8. Let's return to our snowflakes. After baking, they must be painted with a special varnish for polymer clay. However, to give them shine, it can be mixed with a little pearlescent powder. For convenience, thread a toothpick into the holes on the snowflakes and, holding on to it, paint the product on both sides.
9. After leaving the snowflakes to dry, take the balls and bend the ends of the pins into loops using pliers. It is clear that if their length is longer than necessary, then the excess must be cut off. Tie two balls together.
10. Now we attach snowflakes to the balls. Then we attach the fastener to the upper element. The earring is ready. The other one is assembled in exactly the same way. These earrings will be a wonderful addition to your wardrobe or an original gift for the New Year.

Master class: making a Christmas tree
First, search on the Internet beautiful pattern for our Christmas tree and print it out. It is better if the paper is thick, because it will be easier to work with in the future. 
We cut out our stencil and begin to create from polymer clay.
Roll out the plate to the thickness you require, remember that the product should not be too thin, best option- 0.5 cm. Now attach our stencil to the material and lightly press it into the mass. Take a thicker blade and carefully cut the tree along the outline. Remember that the two earrings must be absolutely symmetrical. Now let's make a hole in the top of the tree. After drying, we will insert a clasp into them.
Our New Year's earrings are almost ready, but to harden them, we will place the product in the oven. Carefully read the instructions on the plate with polymer clay: how long and at what temperature the heat treatment is carried out.
When the earrings have hardened, you should wait until they are completely cool. After this, the craft can be coated with water-based varnish, which will add durability and prevent the colors from fading. We insert rings into the holes on which we will attach the earrings, that is, the lock-hook. Now our New Year's earrings are completely ready. 
If you are more experienced in working with polymer clay, the product will seem too boring. If you want to decorate the product, you will need a little more materials, skills and time.

After you have cut out the trees from green clay, knead the white clay and mix it with liquid plastic until creamy. Use colorful polymer to create small balls that you attach to the tree. Using white gel, start drawing on a green surface; the design should resemble fluffy white snow lying on the branches of a tree. Attach miniatures to the snow Christmas decorations. The final stage is glitter scattered over the entire surface of the product. After that, it can be baked. Now your earrings look really festive and bright.

Step 3
Knead the polymer clay in your hands for one to two minutes. It is important that it becomes soft like plasticine, and you can safely give it any desired shape.

- polymer clay (red and white);

- sketch of a Christmas tree.
How I make Christmas tree earrings from polymer clay with my own hands
1: On a piece of checkered paper I draw half of the Christmas tree. I fold the sheet in half so that the branches of the tree are symmetrical. 
2: Using scissors, I cut out the Christmas tree blank along the contour. Thus, both sides turn out completely identical. 
3: Kneading the red plastic. I roll it out to a thickness of 3-4 mm. The main thing is that the plastic is not rolled out very thin. Since after firing it will be fragile, and the New Year's Christmas tree earrings made of polymer clay may break.
I apply the fabric to the rolled out layer and press it into the workpiece with a rolling pin. There is no need to press hard. When you remove the fabric, it may tear out the material behind it, leaving the printed design with ragged edges. 
4: I place the Christmas tree template on the layer and lightly press it with my fingers to make it easier to cut out. Using a sharp blade, I cut out a Christmas tree along the contour of the template. 
5: Use a stack or a toothpick to smooth out any uneven edges. 
6: Roll out the white material into a thin sausage. Approximately 1 mm in size and cut it into small pieces. 
7: I form droplets from each piece of white plastic. And from them I create a flower with five petals. Pressing each petal in a circle with a needle. 
8: I make notches along the contour of each side of the Christmas tree with a needle. 
9: I roll out the white plastic into a thin thread and cut off pieces from it, which I insert into each notch on the Christmas tree earrings made of polymer clay, imitating threads. 
10: Using a toothpick, I make a hole in the head of the tree for the fittings to be attached to. 
11: Roll out small balls of red material and insert them into the center of the flowers. This makes the flowers look more interesting. 
I send earring blanks made from “Yolki” polymer clay to be fired in the oven at the temperature indicated on the package (I fire for 10 minutes at 130 degrees).
12: Let the polymer clay Christmas tree earrings cool and assemble the decoration. With the help of platypuses, I bend the ring in different directions and insert it into the Christmas tree blank. I hang the earrings by the loop and close the ring.
