The plant for the production of vegetable oil will be located on an area of 10 hectares. There will be two main workshops: an oil pressing workshop and a product refining workshop. In addition to the main workshops, warehouses and other service premises for more convenient storage of vegetable oil. To date, 84 people are involved in the construction of the project.

"On the this moment 90 percent of the ground level has been brought to zero, that is, all concrete work has been completed. imported technological equipment and metal structures. Two main workshops are currently being installed. The design capacity of the Taiynsha May plant in terms of raw materials is 300 thousand tons of rapeseed per year, if we consider the main product, then 120 thousand tons of oil and 160 tons of cake", - said the director of the partnership with limited liability"Tayynsha-May" Dauren Turapbekov.

During the inspection of the future plant, Governor of the North Kazakhstan region Erik Sultanov recommended the builders to take advantage of the favorable weather and increase the pace of work, in particular, to improve the territory adjacent to the plant.

“The weather has now settled down, we need to make the most of the time and do a lot of work”, - emphasized Erik Khamzinovich.

The oil plant is already under construction, which means that raw materials for the production of vegetable oil will soon be needed. In this regard, the akim of the North Kazakhstan region visited the fields of Stepnoishimsk Experimental Station LLP and Alibi-Astyk LLP, where he met with the heads of agricultural formations and got acquainted with the progress of harvesting.

According to Ruslan Kulbaev, head of the department of agriculture of the Taiynshinsky district, ripe sunflower will be harvested in the district in October if the weather is favorable.

The Taiynsha May oil processing plant, which opened in North Kazakhstan region almost a year ago, has not yet been fully commissioned. Now the enterprise uses only 40% of the resources, while the plant can process a thousand tons of raw materials daily, the Astana TV channel reports.

To work at full capacity at the enterprise, it is necessary to carry out a complete installation and configuration of equipment, as well as train local specialists. This should be done by Chinese engineers, but the latter cannot enter Kazakhstan on work visas due to bureaucratic delays. Investors from the Middle Kingdom are forced to turn to government agencies for help in order to reduce bureaucratic barriers.

“If our specialists fail to train the locals, we will continue to work at 40 percent capacity. We have highly automated, high-tech equipment. We need qualified personnel to assemble, set up the equipment, and teach how to use it. so that Kazakhstani specialists work at the plant. Now 60 people are already involved. There will be even more," says Fan Lun Fei, General Director of Taiynsha May LLP.

The construction of the Taiynsha Mai plant is the first stage of the Aiju Agro-Industrial Logistics Park project. China invested $20 million in the project, and Kazakhstan provided land for production. Raw materials are sold to the plant by domestic farmers at a price announced through the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs and the Ministry of Agriculture.

Investors plan to buy annually 300 thousand tons of raw materials - sunflower, rapeseed and flax. When production reaches full capacity in China, it will amount to 120-150 thousand tons of oil. The Chinese side is not considering deliveries to the local market in the near future.

"We are very satisfied with the Kazakh raw materials. Because it is a very ecologically high-quality product, without GMOs. We can say that they met our expectations. This is all according to Chinese standards. On the other hand, we do not intend to compete with local producers. So domestic companies don't worry," Fan Lun Fei remarked.

Four joint projects with China have been launched in Kazakhstan: the Neftekhim plant for the production of polypropylene in Pavlodar, a car assembly plant in the Kostanay region, the Khorgos-Eastern Gate logistics terminal and a plant for processing vegetable oils in North Kazakhstan.

This year, seven more projects are under construction. They will be launched by the end of this or by the beginning of next year.

In December last year, it was reported that the oilseed processing plant in Ilyichevka (North Kazakhstan region) in just five months.
