How to make New Year's soap.

For the soap, I chose New Year's plastic molds in the shape of a spruce tree and a snowflake. Wash and dry the uniform. The shape with the snowflake is embossed, I would like to emphasize it somehow. I suggest adding glitter New Year after all. Use a toothpick to add a small amount of glitter, making sure that it is evenly distributed along the bottom of the mold. I decided to make my first snowflake red, so I sprinkled in burgundy glitter.

To make the soap base melt faster, I advise you to cut it into small cubes. We cut the transparent and white bases. You need half as much white base as transparent base.

Heating the base is easier and faster in the microwave. We transfer the transparent base into a heat-resistant container and put it in the microwave, first for 30 seconds, then for another 10-20 seconds. I advise you to heat it this way, step by step, because if you put the base on for a long time at once, you can boil it, and this is extremely undesirable. Add 4-5 drops of red dye and 4-5 drops of Mandarin fragrance to the melted base. What would New Year be without tangerines! Stir gently with a skewer, but not for long, otherwise the base will begin to harden. And if, after all, you hesitate, and the base has frozen a little, covered with a film, just reheat everything in the microwave for literally 10 seconds!

Carefully pour the colored scented soap base into the mold. You need to fill about two-thirds of the mold. Be careful: the melted base is quite hot. Let it harden for 15-20 minutes. We will not wait for the soap to completely harden; we need only the very top layer to set so that we can pour the next one.

In order to make our transparent colored soap look brighter and more interesting, I suggest making an additional fill with a white soap base. Melt the pre-chopped white base. Don't be surprised: the white base is a little more difficult to heat than the transparent one. We put it for 20-30 seconds, then for another 10-20 seconds in the microwave. Add 2-3 drops of Mandarin fragrance to the melted white base, mix and pour over the transparent red layer. After 20-30 minutes, remove from the mold - and now our bright New Year's soap is ready. Now it’s time for snowflakes of other shades.

- You can add not only dye and fragrance to soap, but also essential oils, oatmeal, lavender and calendula petals, honey or clay. And you can add ground coffee or loofah to the scrub soap.

I advise you to add the same fragrance to different layers of multi-layer soap. If you decide to add different ones, the smell may end up being completely indistinct. It is better to make another soap with a different scent.

To make the soap harden faster and come out of the mold easily, place it in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes.

The soap will retain its aroma longer if you wrap it in cling film before packaging.

First of all, you need to melt the soap base. To do this, you need to heat it for two to three minutes at a power of 700 W in a microwave oven until a jelly-like form is obtained.
Add dyes. To dilute the pigment paste, you need to add only two drops to 200 ml of water.
Pour the soap base evenly into two glasses. Titanium dioxide can be added to the base to achieve the desired shade without first diluting it in water. This is an absolutely harmless dye. Stir vigorously with chopsticks until a homogeneous mass is obtained.
Add a teaspoon of fir oil to each glass, stir the mixture thoroughly.
To prevent bubbles from forming, sprinkle a small amount of alcohol.
Pour the resulting base into a silicone mold. To achieve the swirl effect, to get beautiful stains and curls, you need to pour a little green mixture into the center, then a light mixture into the center of the shape, alternating shades one by one.
Sprinkle alcohol again on top of the resulting product to prevent the formation of bubbles. Leave the soap in the mold to harden for at least two hours. Remove the frozen soap from the mold. To give clear, even edges, cut the soap with a cutter on all sides as necessary.
Cut the resulting product into even pieces of the desired shape and package it beautifully using brightly themed wrapping. If the silicone mold is small, then the resulting product may not be cut. The fragrant pine present is ready.

You will need:

refined olive oil;
blue food coloring;
alcohol (in a spray bottle);
cup;

silicone mold;
soap base (80 g organic base, 20 g goat milk base);
fir aroma oil.

Instructions:

1. Spread some glitter evenly across the bottom of the silicone mold.
2. Carefully cut the white goat milk base into small cubes, then melt it in the microwave. The resulting mixture will be the top layer of the future gift.
3. Take fir oil and drop a few drops of it into the same cup. This will give our product a pleasant aroma and enrich beneficial properties, since this oil is a wonderful remedy for caring for wrinkled skin.
4. Now quickly pour the resulting mixture into a silicone mold.
5. Spray alcohol from a spray bottle on top. This is necessary to ensure that there are no bubbles left in the solution. We wait until the mixture cools down.
6. After the solution has hardened, you need to make neat cuts on its surface using a regular kitchen knife.
7. Now in another cup we begin to prepare another layer. To do this, you need to dissolve food coloring in a small amount of water - just a few drops.
8. Melt the organic base in the microwave, after cutting it into small pieces.
9. Add dissolved dye (a few drops) and one-third teaspoon each of olive and fir oil alternately to the melted base.
10. Now quickly pour the resulting mixture onto a hard white layer, after which we also spray it with alcohol from a spray bottle. We wait a couple of hours until the solution hardens.
11. Remove the cooled solid product from the silicone mold. Our beautiful and delicious-smelling handmade soap is ready!
