For example, you can get to Sheremetyevo Airport from any district of the city for only 900 or 1000 rubles, depending on the point of departure. Which, you see, is a little nicer than the standard 1100-1400 or more rubles And taking into account possible bonuses, it generally comes out quite cheaply.
I also want to draw your attention to a nuance: when you link a bank card in the application, a tip in the amount of 12% of the cost of the trip is automatically set in its properties. Judging by the reviews about the work of Gettaxi on the Internet, the driver usually does not get anything from these tips. Therefore, I recommend setting this parameter for all linked cards to 0%. If you want to thank the driver for the excellent service, it is better to give him a tip in cash. Also, as far as I know, the driver has the opportunity to refuse the order before it is taken. That is, for example, you may not find a car to travel from the city center outside of it within a reasonable time, since no one wants to take an order (mainly relevant for Moscow). In this case, it makes sense not to indicate the end point of the trip at the time of ordering a taxi, but to inform the driver about the destination, anyway, the application does not show the final cost.

UPDATE from 01/12/2016: We went to Moscow for the New Year holidays, where we had to move at night, we had to test taxi services (Gett and Uber) tightly. Also, upon returning home to Nizhny Novgorod, I fell extremely unfortunately ill. Since my car is still being repaired after the accident, and I have to go to the same doctors, the taxi “tests” continued at home (Gettaxi). So, what's new/interesting for taxi drivers?
Firstly, Gettaxi seems to have completely lost the Economy + tariff. However, to be honest, as a user, I don’t feel any loss: for the same distances and the cheapest before, Uber and Gett at the “Comfort” tariff in fact gave out approximately the same prices, Gett even sometimes worked out cheaper. Why? “Discovery” number two: since all major network carriers have time-based fares, the cost of the trip ultimately depends only on the driver and his driving style. Of course, in the absence of traffic jams and other force majeure on the road. That is, with an adequately hurrying driver, you will get there quickly and pay less. But if you get into a mess, get ready to increase your bill by 1.5-2.5 times, regardless of the carrier (the real difference in the amounts for the same route).
Uber also found one very unpleasant feature - multiplying coefficients (for example, 1.7 or 2.5 - which means a trip is 1.7 or 2.5 times more expensive than the standard fare). Moreover, at a time when the same Gett did not have anything like that (not New year's night or there is a hurricane when everyone raises prices). Since the application warns about this in advance, nothing terrible has happened to us - fortunately, there is a competitor with a normal price. :o) But the fact remains.
And finally, about Yandex.Taxi, which we did not use at all for one simple reason: horse price tags. Compared to competitors, the application consistently gave out a preliminary price of at least twice as much. So it goes.
UPDATE from 04/24/2016: Gett returned the Economy tariff back, and also added another Minimum tariff. In reality, they did not notice the difference between Comfort and Economy at the price - the driver just drove up and turned on the paid waiting before the trip, while standing in the wrong place where they asked when ordering, and then drove a long road. As a result, the amount along the route came out the same. Of the differences noticed - Economy cannot be ordered in advance, but Comfort and Minimum can.

For Uber, payment is only possible with a linked bank card - no cash, which is extremely convenient for me (although I admit that this is not the case for everyone). By the way, when linking a card (as in other similar applications), by default, a tip of as much as 20% of the cost of the trip will be set (for tariffs higher than Comfort). What is inconvenient - in the application on a mobile device it is not visible to change this setting you will have to log in to the Uber website and change the value of the option in the "Payment" section personal account. Also not visible in the app discount coupon, specified during user registration, information about him can also be viewed only after authorization on the site in the same section "Payment".
On the positive side, Uber has really low prices. As an example, during my last trip in Moscow from the center to the nearest castle (about 26 kilometers), I received the following calculations: RuTaxi - 660 rubles, Yandex.Taxi - 970 rubles on the Economy tariff (!), Uber - as a result, the trip cost only 528 rubles. Only Economy from Gettaxi could compete with it (according to an approximate self-calculation, since the application does not even show an approximate cost).
