- I don’t know what courage has to do with it, you see: everyone put on hats! Everyone knows how to walk beautifully. Yes, I was offered to take part in the show - but I think there are a lot of women in this hall who would have demonstrated Katya Osadchaya's hats in the same way. And there is nothing extraordinary in this. Of course, you can say this: this is another adventure that you decided on.
What designer did you buy your hat from?
- It so happened that my daughter and I bought almost the same hats. And to somehow be different, I decorated it myself. And I didn’t choose a hat for the show: I put on whatever came to hand. After all, there were few hats intended for display. Although somehow it turned out that all the hats, both in style and in color, suited the outfits of the “models”. Even the skull hat!
Business lady Alena Romanova deals with real estate. Most recently, she got married, so she came to the party in the form of a bride. Her wedding dress is the creation of English designer Ian Stuart. But the hat is a masterpiece from craftswomen from the Chernihiv shop-studio "Makosh".
- Do you often wear hats?
- Actually, the fashion for hats appeared three years ago, but it came to Chernihiv a little later. Therefore, if an opportunity arises to wear something interesting, I, of course, use it!
- In general, do you have courage in outfits?
- Necessarily. I try to be unique in everything!

- You also participated in the show today. Do you think that putting a hat on your head really requires courage?
- Maybe yes. Because we were offered to wear very outrageous hats, you saw. For example, I was with a globe. But nevertheless, our company of girls, representing the Chernihiv business league, found some kind of enthusiasm in themselves - and everything went easily and simply!
Usually I don’t wear a hat, but today, apparently, there was a start: something inside me has changed! I have the most wonderful impressions of the party, especially since the money is directed to good causes. There should be more events like this! You get pleasure for yourself, make a lot of pleasant and useful acquaintances - and participate in good deeds! The principle is simple: if you learn how to earn for yourself, share it with others. And that kindness will come back to you! Because life is a boomerang.

To make a competition outfit sorceresses from the salon "Svit Kvit" it took about 70 orchids, and chrysanthemums - without counting! You can’t prepare an outfit of fresh flowers in advance: we started work in the morning. Previously, of course, everything was drawn and calculated. They took it and did it!
Alena Ovruchevskaya, director of the Delux wedding complex, I also decided to learn the profession of a designer - this year the girl entered a vocational school for everyday life. To expand your creative possibilities. And when the offer to participate in the competition was received, of course, I agreed!
Alena dressed her model, repeated participant and winner of beauty contests Natalia Sparrow, “in lilies of the valley”. And on the head of the girl - a slight radiance. I wonder how this backlight works?

- About 200 beads are sewn on this hat. And do not believe it - I picked up a needle for the first time, before that I did not sew or embroider. On the eve of the party, I went shopping, looked - I didn’t like anything. I decided: “If you want to do something well, do it yourself!” Decided - and managed on time. Although half an hour before the rehearsal, she was still finishing the hat.
- Did you enjoy tonight?
- Highly! This holiday made hundreds of girls happy. Well, men, respectively!
New hat with a new look
Galina Pashchenko, director of Ave-San, appeared in two guises: an elegant English lady and a perky fashion hooligan capable of appearing in public ... with a sofa on her head!
- After all, life is given not only to be sad, to fight, to constantly overcome something. But also to be happy! And I don't remember such a beautiful evening for a long time. Such beautiful women, awesome! No wonder they say that beauty will save the world - today I plunged into this beauty, and it seems that this is a different world. I want people to know that there is not only struggle and work.
- Did they give you a hat to choose for the fashion show?
- You know, I was a little late, and when I arrived, there was not much choice. I was thinking about picking up something elegant for my image. It was not elegant, it was outrageous! I looked - the color matches. Why not?!
- Do you have a lot of hats in your wardrobe?
- I don't have one! I bought this silk tablet from a designer especially for a hat party. My pace of life does not allow me to wear hats ... I run, I fly through life - the hat will just fly off me!
Lilia Karashchuk, director of the Velurov restaurant, changed three hats in the evening: including putting on something like a cylinder on one side, as part of a collection show. Of the 21 participants in the fashion show, it was Lilia who got such an original headdress - and it turned out that this is exactly what she needed!
- They say that in this hat I look very much like Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter from Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland. And I think that's how I feel! If need be, I can be Johnny's understudy! Lily laughs.
Well, looks like the hat party has done its job. Good mood, vivid impressions, acquaintances and contacts, pleasure from the program, live communication with the star. And, of course, a good deed done together.

Chernihiv storks flew to Osadchy
The first place in the competition for the best hat among the guests was won by director of the store "Calypso" Natalia Shkel. The stork's nest that adorned her head was made by the Zima-Summer design studio. The nest weighs about five kilograms!
- I love hats very much, - said the winner, - although I don't often have to wear them. It is now spring, storks are my favorite birds, and in this way I wanted to emphasize: everything around is blooming, storks fly to us - life begins! I had another option: Val and our Chernihiv guns. They made two samples - and yet I liked the storks more. The hat was made by a well-known designer in Chernihiv, the head of the Winter-Summer studio, Valentina Misnik: her golden hands and my imagination!
Natalia's festive mood was briefly spoiled by the question of whether the issue with the scandalous "extension" to her store, at 90 Pobedy Avenue, was resolved. She answered succinctly:
- Thank God.

- Nikolai Alexandrovich, it has already been said here several times: a woman needs courage to go out into the street in a hat. Does a man need courage to accompany a woman in such an unusual hat?
- I do not suffer from shyness and consider myself a brave person! Storks are really the wife’s favorite birds, if we notice a nest on the road, she almost asks: “Stop the car, I want to look at them!” But I didn’t know what kind of hat my wife would wear until today - to be honest, I only saw her in the car. I was amazed: how much imagination and work!
- Worried about his wife - will he win the competition?
- Worried. I understood that there is no headdress more original than hers. But I did not know how they would appreciate ...
Evaluated as highly as possible - Katya Osadchaya liked Natalia Shkel's hat more than the others. But it turns out that Nikolai Alexandrovich ran out to the center of the hall, where the participants were standing, not only to congratulate his wife:
- I offered to transfer this hat to the presenter's collection! he explains. So this is who Katya Osadchaya should thank for the new accessory!
Natalia Shkel comments:
- Giving - with all my heart! I hope Katya really liked this hat - which means that we, Chernihiv residents, will watch "Life of the World" and one day we will see Katya Osadchaya in our hat!
Five thousand one hundred ... Sold!
Pedagogical University teacher Lyudmila Ivanenko came to the party without a hat - it was replaced by a large flower in her hair. And she returned with a hat “from Katya Osadchaya”, bought for 5100 hryvnia (started from 500) at a charity auction. The victory was almost snatched from a competitor, with whom they went "step by step".
- Lyudmila, you were so stubborn in the fight at the auction - is it because you love hats? So you want to buy this one?
- I like hats, but in my life I almost never wear them. And I bought this hat because a noble goal was set: the opportunity to help children.
- But it seems that the guests were not warned that there would be an auction ... And you so easily parted with such a large amount?
- Yes, it was a spontaneous decision. But you need not only to be able to earn, but also to spend money worthily. Help those in need. And since I am a mother myself, I gladly accepted the opportunity to help the children.
- Did you like the hat?
- Certainly! It is, however, quite extravagant, but, I think, somehow, on occasion, I will demonstrate it! People in the audience have already asked to put it on, look at it, touch it.

The invitation cards clearly indicated that a dress code was required: women - a hat and evening dress, men - a suit. The ladies turned out to be more attentive to the requests of the organizers: literally a few out of several hundred guests were dressed “out of shape”. But some of their companions not only came without ties, but apparently did not find suits in their wardrobe. Gentlemen, we must somehow correct the situation, the party is not the last!
