The parcel arrived in the country of destination and silence. The tracking status is not updated for a long time. Causes. What to do? Physical movement of the parcel

Russians in Lately People are increasingly ordering goods from other countries, especially on popular sites such as Aliexpress, Buyincoins and Ebay. It also happens that someone has relatives or friends abroad, and they send gifts or simply parcels to you in Russia. Delivery of goods throughout our country is carried out by Russian Post or other postal companies, and on the territory of the sender, the goods are transported by local carriers. When approaching the recipient, the status of the shipment changes, which is displayed in the online parcel tracking service. In the article we will tell you what the status “export from the country of departure” and all the others mean, as well as what to do if the parcel is missing or “stuck” somewhere.

Through what services can you track postal items?

The most widespread and popular service was created by Russian Post, it is called “Russian Post. Tracking postal items.” There you need to enter the parcels and confirm that you are not a robot. The system will show where in this moment the parcel is located. But, unfortunately, recently, on the same Aliexpress, parcel numbers have begun to be issued in such a way that it is impossible to track them through the Russian Post website. You can use others instead.

So, there are websites for tracking goods specifically from China, since a very large number of parcels are now coming from there. It’s called Track24 and is located on the website of the same name; there are also 17track and ALITRACK. The last 3 do not request verification of the robot, but immediately search for the location of the parcel using the entered postal item number. The 17track service also shows the approximate date of arrival at the recipient's post office.

If an item has disappeared from the tracking service or is stuck somewhere at one point for a long time, then it is possible that they forgot to add it to the program and you will no longer be able to track its movements until you receive a notification from the post office that the package has been delivered. In this case, you can write to the seller, attaching a screenshot from the Russian Post service. Tracking mail items or any other service that shows the problem. After the delivery period has expired, the seller, with your consent, or you yourself can extend the delivery period or return the money for an obvious reason. Money is usually returned quickly (within 3-5 days) to the card or account from which the payment was made, although not the first time. Sometimes the seller has to write several times to get the money back, or even contact the support service, because the seller does not make contact. It also happens that the money is returned or the product is ordered again, but the one that was lost arrives.

Preparing for shipment

This means that a package consisting of one or more items is being assembled or already completed and prepared for shipment. The preparation process also includes paperwork and labeling of parcels. Also at this stage, the seller checks whether payment for the purchase has been made and passed.

"Export from country of origin"

This is the second status that the parcel acquires during transportation, unless otherwise provided by the seller or transport company. “Export from the country of origin” literally means export from that country. This means that the parcel has a long delivery journey ahead.

The time given to deliver the goods to the buyer usually begins to count precisely from the “export from the country of departure” status. How long to wait for a parcel is often written when placing an order: some goods arrive within 30 days, and some within 90. Therefore, you should carefully read the delivery conditions when placing and subsequent payment for the order. If the parcel is sent by your friend from another country, then the wait is much less; these usually arrive in 10-20 days.

Arrival at destination country

When export from the country of departure is completed, i.e. the goods have left the seller’s country and crossed the border, the status of the parcel changes. There can be 2 options: either the goods immediately end up in the capital sorting center, or he will be in a border, but already Russian city next to the border that he crossed. One way or another, it will have the status “arrived in the territory of the Russian Federation” or “imported to the country of destination” in tracking services.

Arrival at the sorting center

Sorting centers are huge premises in a large city into which parcels and letters are received for further distribution and sending to smaller points or regional post offices. When a product is exported from the country of departure, it has already been determined where it will go next, to which city, sorting center and post office.

In the sorting center, parcels are processed automatically, because manually great amount boxes and packages are almost impossible to process, so it is important that the index is written correctly (the address is not read here), otherwise the parcel will go to another place.

Arrival at the pick-up point

When the purchased product has gone through all stages of transportation, it arrives at the post office closest to the buyer. Within a few days, postal employees issue a receipt notice and deliver it to the recipient's mailbox. If the addressee does not arrive within a week, a second notice is issued. A parcel that has been lying unclaimed for a month is sent back.

If a person tracked the parcel through online services and saw that it was there, he may not wait for a notification, but come to the post office with the shipment number and, having named it and presenting his passport, receive a box with the purchased goods.

If he missed all the notifications and did not monitor the status for a long time, then when trying to understand where the parcel is, he may see the status “export from the country of departure” again, but now this country will be Russia, which means the purchase has been sent back. Only a dialogue with the seller will help here; he can stop the return shipment or send the goods again. But not all sellers agree to this, so if you are waiting for a parcel from abroad, do not rely on notifications from the post office, but check the location of the goods yourself.

Let's take a closer look at how to find out where the package is, when you need to go pick it up, and what basic rules are in place at post offices.

Russian Post operates at a modern information level. What does it mean? If some 10-15 years ago people sending or waiting for a parcel had no idea where the item was, now it is possible to track all transactions with postal items.

Many of us use the Internet, so it is possible to track the status of the package. After a long wait, the status “Waiting for the addressee at the place of delivery” appears on the Russian Post website. What does it mean, what actions need to be taken?

How are parcels tracked?

This section is intended for those who are not familiar with the tracking process and have no idea how it is done. If you send something by mail, then after payment you should be given a receipt that indicates:

  • Full name of the sender (yours);
  • Full name of the recipient (to whom you sent the parcel);
  • mailing address recipient;
  • date and time of the transaction;
  • cost of services;
  • an identification number.

It is the last point that interests us most. If a parcel is sent across Russia, it has a 14-digit number. The first six digits always indicate the post office code from which the item was sent.

But how can you find out the number of the package that was sent to you? If this is a private person, then you can ask to dictate or write the item number. On the other hand, when we're talking about about a company, online store, then the manager must send either a check indicating the postal identifier or the identifier (number) itself.

When it comes to foreign online stores, for example, the famous Chinese “Aliexpress”, then postal number is displayed opposite the product. You can copy it or hover your mouse over it and check the status right away. It should only be borne in mind that parcels sent from abroad have a 13-digit identifier, at the beginning and at the end of it (between the numbers) there are letter designations of the countries of departure and receipt. But there are cases in which this standard is not met.

From departure to receipt: statuses

Before we start discussing what "Awaiting the addressee at the place of delivery" means, let's look at other statuses.

Each parcel must pass acceptance, sorting, customs (if it is a foreign shipment) and other operations. But there can be no exact status standards, since everything depends on the geographical location of the sender's and recipient's post offices, and the means of communication. As a rule, each parcel is sorted in the regional center, in regional center, then in those major cities, where there is a transfer hub (airlines, Railway, highways and waterways).

Information about the movements of the parcel will not bring any value to the recipient, unless the item does not arrive at the post office for a long time. Tracking at such a moment will help the employees of the Russian Post to check where the parcel stopped, at what stage and at what address. this work is carried out only when submitting an application to search for a postal item.

We are only interested in the item “Waiting for the addressee at the place of delivery”, after which other statuses may appear.

What to do when a status appears?

When this status appears on the site for tracking parcels, you can safely go to the post office. You just need to check whether the item actually arrived at the department whose index you specified. The fact is that sometimes, for some reason, they are sent to someone else’s department. On the official website of Russian Post, it is mandatory to indicate not only the address, but also a point on the map indicating the operating hours of the branch to which it arrived.

There are other nuances - the arrival of a paper notification, SMS (if you indicated the number mobile phone when sending) or the absence of both.

If you see the status “Waiting for the addressee at the place of delivery,” then your parcel is definitely in the department indicated on the website. Before going to the post office, be sure to take your passport and check your mailbox to see if a notice has arrived. If it has arrived, then you need to fill it out back side sheet, if not, then rewrite the parcel number to dictate it to the operator at the department.

The status appears, but the parcel is not in the mail

Often you can see on the Internet or hear complaints from friends that the item “Waiting for the addressee at the place of delivery” has appeared on the tracking website, but the parcel is not there, according to a Russian Post employee.

If such a status appears, it means that the department employees accepted the postal item, registered it, and it did not go anywhere. Therefore, here you need to focus on the competence and honesty of the department servants themselves. If you cannot resolve the issue peacefully, you can make an application to the reception of the Russian Post or call hotline. If the issue is still not resolved, you can safely contact the prosecutor's office (in the case of a very expensive product).

What statuses may appear after?

The tracking does not end with the status “Waiting for the addressee at the place of delivery.” The corresponding item must appear after you receive the parcel. But there is another outcome of events. Let's look at both:

  1. "Unsuccessful attempt of delivery". As a rule, if a recipient comes to the post office with a question about what this status is, he is told that the postman did not find the addressee at home.
  2. "Dispatching." This status appears when the parcel is sent to another post office that does not serve your street/town. In this case, you need to wait until the postal item arrives at your “home” office.

But it also happens that the parcel remains in someone else's department completely. Then it must be handed over to you after presenting your passport and filling out the notice.

At what point does the status appear

Many are probably interested in at what specific moment “Waiting for the addressee at the place of delivery” appeared on the website. Often, many of us are looking forward to some order or gift from a friend that we want to pick up as soon as possible. And finally, the long-awaited status has appeared. Is it worth the rush? Of course, if the post office is not closed yet, just be sure to write down the parcel number.

So at what point is the status “Waiting for the addressee at the place of delivery” assigned? Russian Post immediately posts information on the website as soon as the operator scans the barcode of the parcel. But there may be glitches and delays on the server, so the registration time may be false or late. For example, the package was registered at 16:12, but its status changed only at 18:02.

Can I pick up for someone else?

Let's take a couple as an example. Let's say that the husband ordered a parcel from Aliexpress, but the purchased item is intended for his wife. When the goods arrive at the post office, the spouse finds himself on an urgent trip on business. Can the spouse issue a parcel? This is prohibited by the rules of the Russian Post. On the other hand, if the wife has not only her passport, but also her husband’s passport (or at least a copy), then the parcel can be delivered.

In this case, the status “Waiting for the addressee at the place of delivery” changes to the appropriate one.

If not tracked

There are parcels that are not tracked. This is especially true for orders with free shipping from foreign online stores. How to understand that she got to the right post office? The seller must indicate in what approximate time the goods will be delivered. When this period passes, you can go to the post office. Just in case, take your passport and be sure to write down the departure number. It may also happen that the parcel has been waiting for the addressee at the place of delivery for a week or two. Therefore, you can start visiting the post office earlier.

In case of various misunderstandings, doubts, please contact the employees of the post office where the parcel should arrive. Always indicate the index of only the branch closest to your home in order to avoid unpleasant situations.

11 Today it seems that people practically do not shop in regular stores. After all, it is much cheaper to remove the "outbid" from the chain "manufacturer - buyer", and save almost half the cost of the goods. Yes, our resellers raise the price tag, and almost twice, causing anger and irritation in ordinary people. Therefore, we have no choice but to bow to online stores, or rather to Chinese supermarkets. In order for the goods to be tracked, a special track number is used, which allows you to receive information about what is currently happening with your purchase. True, they have some “tricky” statuses that not everyone can decipher them correctly. On our website, we decided to explain the meanings of the most common of them. Bookmark us if you haven't already. Today we will talk about such status as Arrived at destination country, which means you can read a little lower.
However, before I continue, I would like to show you a couple more news on random topics. For example, what does Morok mean, how to understand the expression At the dawn, what is a Swedish family, what does Uber mean, etc.
So let's continue what does it mean Arrived in destination country?

Arrived in destination country- means that your parcel has been delivered to the place of international postal exchange in your country for subsequent export / import operations

Many buyers are very worried that their status does not change for several days, i.e., as it was " Arrived in destination country", it has remained the same for a week now. If you bought a USB cable for a dollar, then this is not particularly annoying, but if a video card costs 800 dollars, then goosebumps are already walking through your body, and your hair is starting to stand on end.

What is really going on? A cargo plane delivered bags of parcels and parcels from China or another intermediate country, and now they are waiting in the wings somewhere in the bowels of the Russian Post, awaiting import. You've probably noticed that some time passes between export and import, starting from a few days and ending with weeks or even months (oh, that Russian post office). Do you really think that the plane is in the air all this time? In fact, your product is either in the country where you bought it, or where the plane arrived, or maybe both, for a couple of weeks in a row.
The point is that not all postal services show the status of airlines. This is done so that they are not subject to claims for delays in parcels. That is why your package is already like three weeks in the Russian Federation, and import so far there hasn't been.

From here we conclude that you should not tear your hair in one place, just sit and wait. For example, I order often, and there were practically no losses. The most expensive purchase is a video card for 50,000 rubles, which I ordered in Germany. I also bought a lot of tools, also quite expensive, they all arrived, but I really had to be nervous, it took a long time statuses haven't changed. The longest order, these are special spikes, walking on ice, bought last year on 11/11, and arrived in March of this year. In short, don't worry, the likelihood that your package will be lost is minimal. You just have to wait patiently.
I wish you that all the things ordered come to you safe and sound!

After reading this article, you learned what does it mean Arrived in destination country, and now you will be able to imagine "what is how much" in this mail system. We'll talk about other statuses next time if I'm not lazy.

Receiving a parcel is the very first stage in sending mail to Russia from abroad. At a foreign post office, the parcel is accepted and all documents are prepared for it for further shipment to the final address. A customs declaration is also drawn up (forms CN22 or CN23).

As a result, the postal item is issued a unique identifier, with the help of which the parcel is tracked. The identifier or barcode is printed on the receipt issued to the sender upon receipt of the parcel. From the moment the sender receives the receipt, some time must pass for the parcel to appear in the postal tracking system.

Arrival at the place of international mail exchange

At the sender's Place of International Postal Exchange (IMPO), the parcel is prepared for export to Russia. customs authorities, which are located in places of international exchange, customs clearance is carried out. Dispatches are formed to be sent to the place of departure.

Parcel export

Perhaps the most time-consuming process, the postal item is transported from the sender's country to the recipient's country. Delivery can be carried out either by air or by land, depending on the geographical distance of the countries of export and import. Delivery times for international exports are not determined by any documents; it all depends on the carriers. The Export status means that the parcel has been transferred to a foreign carrier for further delivery to the MMPO of Russia.

Attention! When tracking postal items, be sure to monitor the “Import” status. If the parcel has not arrived in Russia for a long time, it is recommended to write an application to search for the parcel

16

I don't see much point in knowing detailed description one or another postal status. The meaning of most of them is clear from the name, the meaning of others is not so important (again, for me).

However, many users want to understand what the parcel statuses they see when tracking mean. So I will give a description of the most frequent and popular statuses that you can find on various trackers.

The operation of receiving the item in the recipient's country.

All mail entering the territory Russian Federation from flights, starts the journey at the aviation mail transportation department (AOPP) - a special postal warehouse at the airport. Within 4–6 hours, shipments from the aircraft arrive at the AOPP, the containers are registered, and their integrity and weight are checked. Mail is registered in an electronic database. During registration, the barcode is scanned, data is entered on where the container is addressed (for example, MMPO Moscow), from which flight it arrived, about the country and date of formation of the container, etc. The time of these operations can be increased from 1 to 7x days due to the limited capacity of the AOPP.

The next operation after export from the country of origin, which is reflected on the website when tracking the shipment, is import into the destination country. Import information appears after the shipment is transferred by the carrier to the postal operator of the destination country. Operation “Import” means that the shipment arrived on the territory of Russia and was registered. International shipments arrive in Russia through the international postal exchange place (IMPO). There are several MMPOs in Russia: in Moscow, Novosibirsk, Orenburg, Samara, Petrozavodsk, St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad, Bryansk. This operation means that customs has checked the item and returned it to the Postal Service. In many MMPOs, customs works around the clock: this is the only way to check the colossal volume of mail incoming from abroad in a timely manner. Each customs officer is assisted by two postal operators.

Transit

Transportation

Transportation of a parcel from one sorting center to another, towards the recipient.

Package

This means that the parcel is being packed and marked for further shipment.

Export

Export (content check)

The parcel was handed over to the customs service of the sending state for inspection and other customs procedures. If the parcel passes the customs check successfully, it will be sent to the destination country.

Export (packaging)

The parcel has successfully passed inspection, is packed and ready to be sent to the destination country.

Export international mail

Indicates the actual dispatch of the parcel to the destination country.

The “Export” status includes the transfer of the parcel to a foreign carrier, which, by land or air transportation, transports it to the MMPO of the destination country. As a rule, this status is the longest and the transition to “Import” may take some time. This happens due to the characteristics of flight routes and the formation of the optimal weight for transporting it by plane. For example, shipments from China may be delayed due to the fact that cargo planes can carry at least 50 - 100 tons. On average, an export operation takes from 7 to 14 days, but sometimes this operation can take up to 60 days.

If the shipment is in the “Export” status, then it is impossible to track it (find out what exactly is happening to it); only at the import stage will you be able to see your package and monitor its further movement. The use of transit transportation and certain restrictions often delay shipments. However, if your parcel was sent more than 3 months ago, but has not received the “Import” status, then the sender needs to contact the post office and apply for a search.

Electronic parcel registration

This means that the seller has registered the package (track code) on the postal (courier service) website, but in fact, the package has not yet been transferred to the postal service. As a rule, from the moment of registration until the actual delivery of the parcel, it can take from 1 to 7 days. After the parcel is transferred, the status will change to “Reception” or similar.

What do postage statuses mean in English?

Both on Aliexpress and on popular trackers, all postal statuses are translated into Russian. So you won’t come across statuses in English often. And yet, I decided to add here a translation and transcript of the most popular of them.
